Free redemption of old batteries
Your Outpaw PetIdent 160 contains a Lithium battery. Batteries are not
to be disposed along with household waste. You are legally required to
return old batteries, so it can be ensured that they are disposed
properly. You can return old batteries at a communal collection point
or at local businesses. Being distributors of batteries, we are also
obligated to accept old batteries. However, our redemption obligations
are restricted to acceptance of old batteries, which are the same type
as new batteries in our portfolio. Therefore, you may return old
batteries of this kind in an envelope with sufficient postage.
For technical reasons, we do not recommend replacement of the
battery by the consumer/customer. Please get in touch with Outpaw
technical service via email at info@outpaw.io for battery replacement.

   Meaning of battery symbols
Batteries are designated by the symbol with the crossed-out dustbin
(see below). This symbol indicates that batteries may not be thrown
into household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 % by
mass quicksilver, more than 0.002 % by mass cadmium or more than
0.004 % by mass lead, the chemical designation of the included
substances is listed below the dustbin symbol. „Cd“ stands for
cadmium, „Pb“ for lead and „Hg“ for quicksilver.
